Nationwide field data collection for utility billing

Replaced a manual, disconnected meter-reading process with an offline-first Android app using NFC tags and near real-time sync to a centralized .NET Core API — covering both water and electricity utilities at national scale.

Self-service kiosk networks — payment & donation

Designed and delivered end-to-end kiosk systems — custom hardware with a JWT-secured backend. Initial rollout: 56 units for utility bill payment in a GCC country. A nonprofit donation kiosk system has been in continuous production since 2017.

Air-gapped Kubernetes platform for national healthcare

Designed and deployed a fully on-premise, air-gapped Kubernetes platform supporting healthcare services nationwide. Included container security scanning, identity management, full observability, distributed storage, and event streaming.

Case study 04

"Redar" — offline maritime asset tracker

Built solo over 14 months: a ruggedized device for fishermen to track deployed nets, communicate with nearby vessels via LoRa, and broadcast SOS alerts — all fully offline at sea. Won a Gulf Inventor Award.
